Pascale Thérien est une jeune photographe née à Ville-Lemoyne en 1976. Encore enfant, elle s'est promenée aux quatre coins du pays, a habité à Boston, en Alberta, en Ontario et à Montréal, où elle vit toujours. Pascale a étudié en Théâtre et Communications au Conservatoire Lassalle , animé pendant cinq ans une émission de radio hip hop à CIBL (Radio-Montréal) et exploré l'Europe, avant de trouver sa voie en photographie. La photo est une passion qu'elle a découverte à l'âge de 19 ans, en suivant des cours à l'UQAM.

Après des études en photographie commerciale au Collège Marsan, Pascale a travaillé pour le magazine urbain Influence et été photographe d'événements dans le milieu des arts et spectacles. Cette expérience l'a amenée à faire des portraits de Coldplay, Wyclef Jean, The Roots, Martin Deschamps, Shawn Desman, Faf Larage, Corneille, Yann Perreau, Muzion et bien d'autres. Son travail comme photographe de casting lui a aussi permis d'immortaliser sur pellicule de nombreux comédiens. Pascale se spécialise maintenant dans le portrait d'artistes et la photo de mode, elle collabore d'ailleurs avec plusieurs agences de mannequins. On a pu voir ses photos d'artistes lors de son exposition Regarde-moi à la salle O Patro Vys en 2005. Son regard humain, atypique et personnel magnifie ses sujets, les rend plus grands que nature. Pascale sait capter la face cachée de l'artiste et la poésie du corps humain.

Pascale Thérien is a young photographer, born in Ville-Lemoyne in 1976. At a young age, she explored the four corners of the country, having lived in Boston, Alberta, Ontario and Montréal, where she currently resides. B efore she found her path in photography, Pascale studied in Theatre and Communications at Conservatoire Lassalle, she hosted a hip-hop show on local radio station CIBL for five years, and she explored Europe She discovered her passion for the photographic arts at age 19 while following a course at UQUAM .

After studying commercial photography at College Marsan, Pascale worked as a freelance photographer for urban magazine Influence, and for numerous events and live performances in the arts and entertainment industry. This experience gave her the opportunity to shoot artists like Coldplay, Wyclef Jean, The Roots, Martin Deschamps, Shawn Desman, Faf Larage, Corneille, Yann Perreau, Muzion and many more. Her work as a head-shot casting photographer has allowed her to immortalize on film numerous actors. Pascale now specializes in fashion and artists, and frequently collaborates with modeling agencies. We saw her artist portraits at her latest exhibition, Regarde-moi , at O Patro Vys in 2005. Her human, atypical and personnal vision magnifies her subjects, makes them bigger than life. Pascale knows how to unveil the hidden side of the artist and the poetry of the human body.
